Terms & Conditions – Better Bin Hire Geelong
1. General By hiring a skip bin from Better Bin Hire Geelong, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all bookings, whether made online, over the phone, or in person.
2. Hire Period * Standard 7 Day hire period is as agreed at the time of booking. * Extended hire may incur additional charges. * Customers must notify us when the bin is ready for collection.
3. Bin Placement & Access * The customer is responsible for ensuring adequate access for delivery and collection. * Clear access must be provided at all times. * We are not responsible for damage to driveways, paths, lawns, or underground services unless caused by negligence.
4. Weight Limits & Overloading * Each bin includes a specified weight allowance. * Exceeding the weight limit will incur additional charges. * Bins must not be filled above the rim (no overfilling). * Overloaded bins may not be collected until rectified.
5. Acceptable & Prohibited Waste Acceptable waste depends on the bin type booked. Prohibited items include (but are not limited to): * Hazardous waste * Asbestos * Chemicals or liquids * Paints and oils * Batteries * Gas bottles * Tyres * Food waste (in general waste bins unless specified) 
Additional charges will apply if prohibited items are found, and items may be refused collection.
6. Responsibility for the Bin * The customer is responsible for the bin while it is on site. * Any loss, theft, fire damage, or misuse may result in repair or replacement charges.
7. Permits * If the bin is placed on public property (road, nature strip, etc.), the customer is responsible for obtaining any required council permits unless otherwise arranged.
8. Delivery & Collection * Delivery and collection times are estimates only. * We will make all reasonable efforts to meet requested timeframes but cannot guarantee exact times.
9. Payment Terms * Payment is required as agreed at the time of booking. * Additional charges (overweight, prohibited waste, extended hire) will be invoiced and must be paid promptly. * Late payments may incur additional fees.
10. Cancellation Policy * Cancellations must be made prior to delivery. * Cancellation fees may apply if the bin has already been dispatched.
11. Safety Do not move the bin once placed. Do not light fires in the bin. Ensure safe loading at all times.
12. Liability Better Bin Hire Geelong is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from misuse of the bin or failure to follow these terms.
13. Agreement By proceeding with a booking, you acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions.
